Irish Long Course Championships

Hello to ALL TEAM TSC Members,

Wow! What a weekend of swimming we have in store.
This weekend sees the Irish Long Course National Championships in the
National Aquatic Centre.
In previous years, many of our younger athletes have travelled to the NAC to
support their older or more experienced TEAM mates, and that has always been
welcomed.
This year we have 22 athletes from the Club competing so best of luck to ALL
of them. Special welcome home to Shane Faul, who returns home from College
in Coventry, where he is studying and training Full-time.

This year is a first for IRISH Swimming.
There is a large TEAM of 54 American Athletes under the banner of the NCSA
(National Swim Club Association) http://ncsassociation.homestead.com/ who
will be racing this meet this year.
The Meet is also attracting athletes from UK, Scotland and Slovenia, with
athletes like Hannah Miley (European Record Holder 200IM & 400IM) and a host
of other top class athletes.
Many of our Irish World Championship Team are also racing with Barry Murphy,
home from the US to try to qualify for the European Championships.

Ideally, it would be fantastic if the Club Athletes, who were interested to
see some of the fastest swimming in Ireland this year right on their own
doorstep, should try and drop in to see what's going on.
Heats on Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday @ 9:00am (finishing c.12pm)
Finals on EACH Day start at 5:00pm (finishing c.7pm)

URGENT MESSAGE - PM Training 26th April - CANCELLED

Hello to ALL members,

Due to some ESB upgrade works in Wainsfort Road on Monday 26th April, the pool will be closed during the day. As a result, 3rd Squad (4PM), 2nd Squad (5PM) and 1B Squad (6PM) will be CANCELLED for the Monday afternoon.
